PREVENTIVE MEASURES TO AVOID SENSITIVE TEETH

If the gum and the tooth-bearing bones over the years recede, dentists speak of gum recession. This gingival recession is normally limited to the incisors and canines. The tooth is "long", the neck of the tooth visible. The exposed tooth neck is sensitive to heat and cold with a sharp pain that lasts a few minutes. Enjoy hot drinks or ice, for those affected is often no longer possible.

Teeth do not scrubbed, but are regularly cleaned twice daily with a soft or medium toothbrush. In a circular motion with light pressure the interior, exterior surfaces are cleaned up and down. In the chewing the toothbrush is moved back and forth. The cleaning process takes three minutes, and with dental floss between teeth cleaned. Electric toothbrushes have the advantage that the toothbrush is moving properly, so that the gums cannot be hurt. Some electric toothbrushes also have a warning tone when the toothbrush is pressed too hard. Regular professional teeth cleaning at the dentist saves all those who have sensitive teeth, often a lot of trouble. Lastly if you desire for teeth whitening, make sure that you have checked for your teeth sensitivity, otherwise it may invite unnecessary troubles.
