The techniques of tooth Whitening

 The techniques of teeth whitening call today a significant therapeutic arsenal ranging from simple surface cleaning treatments to mechanical, chemical or prosthetic more or less sophisticated.

Chemical treatments are now perfectly codified and possible to have safe and predictable results, as certain types of stains, for example those due to age.

For tougher stains like those from ingestion of tetracycline or excessive fluoride chemical treatments can be effective, but they often require the establishment of long-term care and the synergy of several techniques.
For tougher stains pathological genetic, most often as dentin genesis or amelogenesis imperfect should be considered for prosthetic treatment with partial or total tooth with a veneer material (ceramic or composite).
Chemical treatments, whether ambulatory or chair, now using high-performance products. Their chemical activation by light sources, halogen, plasma, laser ... increase efficiency by shortening the application time and number of sessions.

The latter technique, the bleaching lamp LED is available in the cosmetic clinics. The gel is applied on the teeth, then the Futura 2400 accelerates the whitening process. The result is immediate in less than 1 hour and 2 to 8 shades whiter.
Whatever the technique of bleaching teeth are talking several times a day, including a methodical brushing after every meal. Then, regular monitoring by a dentist is essential (at least annually).
