Real promise of seduction and health, have a nice smile inevitably
white teeth. However, various factors to hereditary (natural coloring or
aging of the tooth), pathological (taking tetracycline during
the period of tooth formation) or from the lifestyle (drinking coffee, tea,
tobacco, wine, antidepressants ...) sometimes make the stain teeth
ineffective. Tooth whitening becomes perfectly justifiable.
The money in question
This simple aesthetics of the teeth used to lighten discoloration
of enamel and dentin by the use of a gel containing hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen
peroxide) or carbamide peroxide. Whether in office or at home, no tooth
whitening should be performed without first performing a thorough oral
assessment by a dentist to verify the absence of cons-indications (untreated
caries, devitalized teeth, weak enamel, gum irritation ...) and an effective
scaling.
The professional
whitening
There are two type of service professional teeth whitening:
bleaching "in chambers" or in a specialized center laundering and one
called "ambulatory" or at home or at work.
The first is realized fully the firm in one or two
sessions. The bleaching is carried out, from an impression of dental
arches, a flexible plastic gutter hosting thereafter whitening gel highly concentrated,
and this during an exposure time of 15 minutes or more depending on the state
initial tooth. Note that money is made painless.
As for ambulatory treatment, it is first carried out with the use
of these gutters and using a gel of hydrogen peroxide or carbamide
peroxide. It is also possible, in extreme cases to make a
bleaching session of 15 minutes extra followed by another session the following
week laundering. In principle, the results appear truly after 15 days and
are visible on average 4 years, depending on the client's lifestyle (high
intake of coffee, tobacco or not). If sensitivity, it is imperative to
stop the laundering to prevent damage to the enamel, dentin or the tooth nerve.
