Internal Tooth Whitening

When dental stains are unsightly and we opt for tooth whitening at the dentist's office, one of the most effective treatment options is the internal teeth bleaching.

The treatment consists in lightening the color of our teeth by placing a whitening gel to the inside of the bone , so it would not be effective for some stains, including those caused by metal filled or damaged blood vessels.

Thus in case of the internal teeth whitening dentist cuts a hole, usually in the back of the tooth, so it does not see with the naked eye and bleach are placed in the hollow area, which subsequently sealed with a temporary filling.

The product is left on for a week or less, so that the gel filling and are completely dry and then we go back to the dentist. If we are satisfied with the new tone, our dentist will fill the hole with a tooth colored filling. However some time, the color is not clear enough and one need to repeat the process.

Sometimes internal bleaching needs combined with other whitening techniques like LASER teeth bleaching, Teeth whitening gel, whitening strips etc., to achieve the desired effect.
